Information on Hampshire and where to get a building survey

Aldershot Home of the British Army, Alton where the expression Sweet Fanny Adams originated following the shocking murder of eight year old Fanny Adams in 1867, the pretty market town of Andover, Basingstoke which has had famous residents including Thomas Burberry and Liz Hurley, the pretty village of Brockenhurst which is home to Beaulieu Motor Museum, enjoy a relaxing river cruise at Bucklers Hard and watch the yachts go by, Chawton, home to novelist Jane Austen in her final years inspiring her in her writing and her home is now open to the public as the Janet Austen House Museum, Eastleigh where Southampton Airport is based, the quaint fishing village of Emsworth, Farnborough which is well known for its international airshow, Gosport which houses the Royal Navy Submarine Museum and The Museum of Naval Firepower, Hayling Island where some of the CassIons for Mulberry Harbour were constructed prior to the D Day Landings and a cracked one which didn't make it to France still remains today at Sinah Sands, Lyndhurst at the heart of the New Forest which has the New Forest tourist information office, Petersfield which holds the Petersfield Music Festival each March, The New Forest which since 2005 has been awarded National Park status and encompasses a large part of Hampshire, Portsmouth visit Historic Dockyard and the newest landmark Spinnaker Tower or Gunwharf Quays Designer Outlet Village with its cosmopolitan bars and restaurants on a scenic waterfront location, Southampton a major port which saw the departure of RMS Titanic in 1912 and cruise ships still use Southampton Docks today. It is also seen as one of the premier venues for sailing and watersports, Southsea home to the Royal Marines Museum, Stockbridge which has inspired poets over the years, Winchester visit the Great Hall, the only remaining part of the 13th century Winchester Castle which remains above ground and of course the stunning eleventh century Winchester Cathedral.
