We carry out residential structural survey and commercial survey in Bletchley. Bletchley is a town which is situated in Buckinghamshire.
Just south of Milton Keynes bordered by the A5 and A4146 is the town of Bletchley in north Buckinghamshire. Its name came from the Anglo Saxon Blecca's Lea (meadow or clearing) It was originally bounded by the Roman Watling Street , the River Ouzel, an ancient Roman Trackway and Rickley Lane. Turnpike roads, canals, railways and national roads all affected the emergence and shape of Bletchley. In modern times they have acted as barriers. Bletchley is a traditional town with a wide range of housing.
The town grew from a small hamlet with the opening of the railway in 1845 and continued to expand being a popular place to live with its proximity to London with many houses being built during the 1960s. However with the building and expansion of nearby Milton Keynes this has had an adverse effect on the town as the Central Milton Keynes Shopping Centre has taken most of the trade from the town today it is an area with several discount stores.
The stunning Bletchley Park with its mansion converted during WWII to what was known as Station X where ground breaking code deciphering was carried out and today is a museum which opened in 1993 run by Bletchley Park Trust in tribute to the incredible work that was carried out there during the war.
If you are planning to book a building survey on a property you are purchasing in Bletchley or the surrounding area then we would like to assure you that we always send a suitably qualified and experienced surveyor to carry out the job. This ensures that you get expert advice on any issues that we may find with the property we are surveying. All our surveyors are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors - RICS - and are Independent Building Surveyors. Being 'independent' means that they are working for you and you alone; they do not work for a mortgage company or an estate agents, so they have your best interests at heart.
All our survey contain lots of images, clearly showing any problems that we have identified at the property such as woodworm, rising damp or cracking to the walls. We also use sketches in our survey which are aimed at helping you to understand how certain areas are constructed or to help show more clearly a problem that we have identified. You will also find lots of definitions of any building terminology that we may use in our survey, as we firmly believe in 'Plain English' and really want you to fully understand what we are saying in the survey report.
