We carry out residential structural survey and commercial survey in Bognor Regis. Bognor Regis is a town which is situated in West Sussex.
About six miles from Chichester and twenty odd miles west of Brighton is Bognor Regis and known many years ago for its fishing and smuggling but most famous now for Butlins. The holiday camp, set up by Billy Butlin, Butlins is famous for their Red Coats and opened in the 1960's. It is well worth viewing the Googlemap postcode PO21 1JJ which only takes you to the entrance of Butlins both the Ocean Hotel and the Shoreline Hotel look spectacular it is great to see modern architecture that we will be proud of in years to come.
Bognor Regis has a surprising number of old properties in Georgian and Regency style many of which we have surveyed over the years. It was a popular town for painter and poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti who worked from a studio in the town from 1875 to 1876.
The town is near the B2166 and A259 and just off the A29, it is surrounded by the town of Bersted to the North, Felpham to the East and Pagham to the West. There is a Victorian pier which opened in 1865 and is a Grade II listed building. There is a range of facilities such as an amusement arcade with beautiful views of the seaside. Nearby is the Bognor Regis Museum which is a brilliant day out in which you can see the range of collections such as the historical buildings, archives and geology. The Museum is close to the railway station so you can easily access the Museum. Near to Bognor Regis is the Pagham Harbour Local Nature Reserve which is about 1500 acres big, you could spend the day at the Reserve birdwatching, take a stroll enjoying the scenery and cycle around the area.
The area of Aldwick has some amazing luxury properties both in modern styles and the more traditional as well as the area of Pagham, Felpham and Middleton on Sea.
If you are planning to book a building survey on a property you are purchasing in Bognor Regis or the surrounding area then we would like to assure you that we always send a suitably qualified and experienced surveyor to carry out the job. This ensures that you get expert advice on any issues that we may find with the property we are surveying. All our surveyors are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors - RICS - and are Independent Building Surveyors. Being 'independent' means that they are working for you and you alone; they do not work for a mortgage company or an estate agents, so they have your best interests at heart.
All our survey contain lots of images, clearly showing any problems that we have identified at the property such as woodworm, rising damp or cracking to the walls. We also use sketches in our survey which are aimed at helping you to understand how certain areas are constructed or to help show more clearly a problem that we have identified. You will also find lots of definitions of any building terminology that we may use in our survey, as we firmly believe in 'Plain English' and really want you to fully understand what we are saying in the survey report.
