We carry out residential structural survey and commercial survey in Denver. Denver is a town which is situated in Norfolk.
Our Surveyors are often in West Norfolk and have carried out Home Buyer Reports in Denver. Denver is a small village located on the A10 just outside the market town of Downham Market.
It is home to the only Windmill that is still producing flour in Norfolk and also the Denver Sluice which helps to control the levels of water throughout the Fens.
When our Surveyors travel to Denver the Windmill is a favourite place to visit as freshly baked bread and cakes are always available . It was built in 1835 and for over 100 years used wind-power for grinding. Unfortunately in 1941 the sails were hit by lightning and the windmill stopped working. It has since been restored and is open to the public once again to appreciate the workings of the mill and equally enjoy the produce in the tearooms. We haven't carried out a Building Survey on this particular windmill but have surveyed others over the years.
The village also has its own post office/general store and a couple of pubs. If shopping on a larger scale is required then Downham Market is a couple of minutes drive away and Kings Lynn about twenty minutes.
Our Surveyors always enjoy their time spent in this lovely village.
If you are planning to book a building survey on a property you are purchasing in Denver or the surrounding area then we would like to assure you that we always send a suitably qualified and experienced surveyor to carry out the job. This ensures that you get expert advice on any issues that we may find with the property we are surveying. All our surveyors are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors - RICS - and are Independent Building Surveyors. Being 'independent' means that they are working for you and you alone; they do not work for a mortgage company or an estate agents, so they have your best interests at heart.
All our survey contain lots of images, clearly showing any problems that we have identified at the property such as woodworm, rising damp or cracking to the walls. We also use sketches in our survey which are aimed at helping you to understand how certain areas are constructed or to help show more clearly a problem that we have identified. You will also find lots of definitions of any building terminology that we may use in our survey, as we firmly believe in 'Plain English' and really want you to fully understand what we are saying in the survey report.
