Littleport

We carry out residential structural surveys and commercial surveys in Littleport. Littleport is a town which is situated in Cambridgeshire.

Littleport is a large village situated in the Fens close to Mare Fen and Burnt Fen.

The village was once the scene of riots when in 1816 men returning home from the Battle of Waterloo were unable to find work looted shops and wreaked havoc.

We always recommend that people have a building survey carried out by an Independent Chartered Surveyor. It is laughable to expect that a mortgage owned / estate agent owned surveyors will give impartial advice. Call an Independent Chartered Surveyor on 0800 298 5424 for an impartial survey on a property in Littleport or local towns and villages.

We have seen many surveys over the years, building surveys, structural surveys and engineers' reports that have been carried out by other surveyors. To be polite they are often not written in plain English, we call it 'surveyor speak'.

Our report format is aimed at making our surveys very readable, especially for people who are not surveyors.  We aim to eliminate 'surveyor speak' from our survey reports and make them understandable without any prior knowledge being required.

What is just as bad is when the chartered surveyor is "too busy" to help you understand what they wrote!  We always speak to the client before, during and after the survey has been carried out.

If you need clarification on something in a surveyor's report we will try and help even if it's not one of our surveys! Just give us a phone call or send your poor surveyor's reports to badsurveys@1stassociated.co.uk  and we will do our best to help.
