Rochester Cathedral dates back as far as 604 with its Saxon origins with the Nave being built later in 1083. The 17th century Guildhall in the High Street was built in 1687 and is a magnificent building with an amazing weather vane of an 18 th century warship high on its roof. The Guildhall houses a museum which originally was housed in Eastgate House also in the High Street and has many artifacts on display and includes a Dickens Galley and Prison Hulks Experience.
