Independent Chartered Surveyors in Sawtry

You may be wanting to improve or even move in Sawtry, we can assist you with any building issues you have. Whether selling or buying your property, whether it be your home or a commercial building such as a shop or night club, at 1st Associated our independent surveyors will produce a survey for you such as a property report or specialised report on dampness or a building survey, we will help you decide whether the property is the one for you based on our survey findings. We are not tied to any estate agents who only want you to buy a property from them, or a mortgage lender such as a bank who want to lend you money, like many building surveyors are.

You may have discovered that the property you live in in Sawtry has got some kind of structural problem like wood rot such as wet rot or dry rot, or you may have noticed dampness coming through one of your walls, this sort of problem will require a timber treatment specialist or dampness treatment specialist who can advise on how to treat the problem. For any property advice in Sawtry call us free on 0800 298 5424

Sawtry

We carry out residential structural surveys and commercial surveys in Sawtry. Sawtry is a village situated in Cambridgeshire.

Sawtry is a large village in the Huntingdonshire district of Cambridgeshire. It is situated at the edge of the Fens between Peterborough and Huntingdon.

The name Sawtry originates from when the village was a trading centre for salt during the Middle Ages.

At 1st Associated we really want you to be able to understand what we are telling you in our surveys; so, over the years we have compiled a list of useful definitions and descriptions related to property, property purchase and the building industry in general. Each main section in our survey reports is set out from the top of the building down, i.e. we start with the chimneys first, then the roof coverings, followed by the roof structure, then we move on to the gutters and downpipes and the walls etc, all the way down to the foundations, damp proof course and external joinery. We then look at the interior of the property, the services and the outside areas. We use our list of definitions throughout in our survey reports to aid your understanding of any issues and problems we may find with the property you are buying Sawtry.

1st Associated Chartered Surveyors cover the whole of the UK including all areas of Cambridgeshire for example in:

Our surveyors take their time to make sure they don't miss any problems or issues with the property they are surveying and they are keen to take the time to meet you the client at the property to discuss any issues with you.
