Brent is in the North West of London.

Places of Interest in Brent

The beautiful Shree Kutch Satsang Sawminarayan Temple' is in Kenton.

The Shri Swaminarayan Mandir', the largest Hindu temple outside of India is here in Neasden.

Kingsbury is home to the lovely Fryent Country Park'

Kensal Green is a residential area in London which is well-known for its cemetery. The beautiful cemetery was founded in 1833 and is set in 72 acres. The cemetery has two conservation areas and an adjoining canal. The cemetery has a mix of large mausoleums and smaller graves and has three chapels.

The Welsh Harp' named after a local pub is one of London's largest lakes. It was created in the 1830's and became a popular fishing resort and a place for boating.

The Welsh Harp is a haven for wildlife and has one of the largest nesting colonies of great crested grebes' in the UK.

Wembley Stadium was where England won the world cup in 1966. The Live Aid' concert organised by Bob Geldof was held at the stadium in 1985. The stadium was renovated and re-opened in 2007 and now has 90,000 seats, 34 bars and 8 restaurants. A 133 metre tall arch which is lit for major events and special occasions can be seen across London.

Wembley Arena', a major entertainment venue opened in 1934 as the Empire Pool and Sports Arena' and hosted the 1948 Olympics. Famous names such as The Beatles', The Rolling Stones', Stevie Wonder' and Madonna' have all played at the arena.
