Hounslow itself is a residential area that is very green' in parts.
Hounslow Heath Nature Reserve' has woodland and wildflower meadows and is enjoyed by many local people.
Hounslow is near to Heathrow Airport and has many hotels and guest-houses for overnight passengers.
The Paul Robeson Theatre' in Hounslow which holds 280 is a performing arts venue which hosts performances from both professional and amateur artists.
Brentford
Brentford is a residential area in the London Borough of Hounslow where the River Thames meets the River Brent.
Brentford was once known for its boat building.
Syon House in Brentford has been the London home of the Duke of Northumberland' and his family for over 400 years. This beautiful home is set in the lovely Syon Park. The home is open for visitors to enjoy and is a beautiful spot to take a break when we a surveying properties in the area.
Brentford is also the home of the Kew Bridge Steam Museum' on Green Dragon Lane. The museum was formed in 1973, opened in 1975 and is seen as an important historic site of the water supply industry of London.
Chiswick
Chiswick, once part of Middlesex is an affluent area in the London Borough of Hounslow.
With its setting on the edge of the River Thames, Chiswick offers some stunning riverside properties where we have carried out many residential building surveys. Chiswick also has some lovely Edwardian and Victorian homes set in wonderful leafy avenues.
Chiswick High Road is the main shopping area and this is where you will also find many great restaurants and bars.
The historic Griffin Brewery' is in Chiswick and is London's only remaining traditional family brewery. The brewery offers tours for the general public giving them the chance to see just how the beer is brewed.
The stunning Chiswick House' is a great place to visit. The house was built in 1729 by the third Earl of Burlington and is set in beautiful, historical gardens. Chiswick House was never intended as a private residence but somewhere the Earl of Burlington could display his art collection and is open to the public to enjoy. The house and gardens are popular for photography and film shoots and can also be hired for weddings and parties.
Feltham
Feltham is a residential area in Hounslow Borough.
Hounslow Urban Farm', formed is 1990 is in Feltham and is a great place to take the children. The farm covers 29 acres and has pigs, ponies, goats, rabbits and more.
Feltham is just minutes away from Heathrow Airport.
Heston
Heston was once a quiet farming village but is today a regular overnight destination for many passengers flying in and out of Heathrow Airport.
Many airport related businesses are in Heston.
Isleworth
Isleworth in the London Borough of Hounslow has some lovely 18 th and 19 th century properties, many with beautiful river views. This is a delightful place for us to visit and carry out building surveys.
Isleworth Ait' is an island on the Thames rarely visited by people but visible from the river bank. The island is home to more than 57 species of birds, beetle and many other rare creatures.
Osterley
Osterley is a residential area in Hounslow Borough.
The beautiful Osterley Park and House', created by architect and designer Robert Adam' in the late 18 th century makes for a splendid day out. The house, a National Trust property is open on various dates for people to enjoy. The Park and House also host various concerts and events throughout the year.
Osterley is home to the Sky News Studio and Broadcasting Centre'.
The Sultan of Brunei' owns a large estate in Osterley.
