One old building in Billingshurst which must be seen if you are interested in 18th century religious buildings is Billingshurst Unitarian Chapel in the High Street which was built in 1754 for General Baptists and is one of the oldest places of worship for Nonconformists. The building is a delightful brick built cottage of the Georgian Vernacular style, single storey with a gable headed porch and is Grade II Listed and has been extended and altered over the years.
