Always have an independent survey by a chartered surveyor before you commit to buy a property

If you are purchasing a property in West Sussex , please ensure that you have a building survey carried out on it by an independent chartered building surveyor. The survey will establish if there are any problems in the property and gives you the ability to either renegotiate the purchase price or if the work is too much for you then you can walk away from the purchase. Our survey reports also include the cost required to put any problems right so once you have read the report you are fully aware of the implications of any property problems.

Why have a 1stAssociated survey?

Our surveys are carried out by experienced chartered surveyors who have carried out surveys on every age, type and style of property over the years on both residential and commercial properties. We therefore have the expertise to spot a problem which to the untrained eye is not visible.

Our surveyors survey the whole building and will get on the roof if at all possible (one of our clients has likened us to Spiderman!). Where we can't physically get onto the roof we have a x16 optical lens which will take close up photographs of those hard to reach places.

Ponding to flat roof identified by one of our ‘spiderman' surveyors!

We also have thermal imaging cameras, damp meters, etc to ensure that we fully inspect the property.
